Vintage bits: Canon 400D XTi 14 years later

Back in 2006 I joined the fledgling video service, YouTube, and started posting reviews of cameras. Amazing as it seems today, I was one of the first people to review anything at all on YouTube, let alone cameras, and suffice it to say my earliest attempts were a little rough around the edges… and in the middle. So I thought it would be fun to start a new series called Vintage Bits, where I’d look back at my early reviews of interesting cameras, see how they compare to modern options, while also sharing some behind-the-scenes secrets! I’m starting with the Canon EOS 400D / Rebel XTi which, while not revolutionary in itself, was an important camera personally as it was my very first review on YouTube.
