The Victorian Bandstand

Here’s the lovely Victorian Bandstand in Hove taken with the Fuji XF 10-24mm at 10mm for a 15mm equivalent field of view on the XT1 body. This has become my go-to combination for my ‘finer-art’ photography projects, particularly those involving long exposures.

There’s nothing long about this exposure though – it’s simply a normal daytime shot, handheld and straight out of camera then copied out of it over Wifi. I like this view from inside the bandstand and how you can use it to frame Brighton’s old skeletal West Pier in the background.

I’m in the process of gathering lots of lovely sample images for an upcoming review of the XF 10-24mm, but in the meantime, here’s my Fujifilm XT1 review!
