Today’s smartphones feature surprisingly respectable cameras that are capable of great results. Making the most of them involves applying traditional techniques while embracing modern features. To illustrate this, I filmed a series of video tutorials for the How To Mobile Photo channel to help you take better photos with your phone, although many of the tips are equally applicable to any camera. After this one on exposure, followed by some ideas on macro and close-ups, then finally one looking at shooting buildings and architecture.
