Sony A700 - front view

Sony Alpha DSLR-A700 video tour

We're pleased to present a short video tour of the Sony Alpha DSLR-A700 - the second ever DSLR from Sony and the first the company has designed 100% itself. This video demonstrates the A700's design, controls and superb screen. Note this video has the same first seven minutes as our earlier preview, but as promised now includes a new verdict of a final production model. There's no need to download any new software - just press the play button in the middle of the screen below and wait for the video to start; you may need to press the button twice. The quality and any delay before playing may vary depending on your internet connection.

Bad points
12 Mpixels not much better than 10.
Default settings benefit from sharpening.

Very tough rivals in this market.
