Leica Nocticron 42.5mm f1.2 sample images

The following images were taken with a Panasonic Leica DG Nocticron 42.5mm f1.2 H-NS043E mounted on an Olympus OMD EM1. This page represents the first part of my tests with the lens and I'll follow it up with more samples and comparisons using a variety of Micro Four Thirds bodies soon.

The individual exposure mode, file sizes, shutter speeds, aperture, ISO and lens focal length are listed for each image.

All of the images below are available to download in their original formats for analysis; click the photo to access the files at flickr. These files are for personal evaluation only and cannot be used in another publication or website without permission.

You may want to compare a selection in my Olympus 45mm f1.8 sample images gallery.

Portraits: Striking the pose eBook
By Gina Milicia
Price: $19.99 USD (PDF download)
More details!

Posing is something that can make or break a portrait. Do it badly and your subject looks awkward and the resulting image is spoiled (and quickly deleted). Do it well and your subject will be at ease and their true character will shine through. In 'Portraits: Striking a pose', photographer Gina Milicia shares the tips and tricks she's used on royalty, rockstars and supermodels. We're not talking about wildly unnatural poses, but natural poses you can use with anyone, at any time. If you'd like to take your portrait photography to the next level, whether in a professional environment or simply taking better photos of your friends and family, I can recommend this ebook!
