Olympus E-400 with Zuiko Digital 14-42mm f3.5-5.6 ED Gordon Laing, November 2006

Olympus E-400 video tour

We're pleased to present a short video tour of the Olympus E-400 - the world's smallest and lightest digital SLR at the time of writing. This video discusses the E-400's size and design and demonstrates its screen and control system. There's no need to download any new software - just press the play button in the middle of the screen below and wait for the video to start; you may need to press the button twice. The quality and any delay before playing may vary depending on your internet connection.

Good points

Small and light without compromising comfort
Very effective anti-dust system
Highest resolution Four Thirds body so far
Easy access to settings

Bad points
Noise more obvious than rival DSLRs
Right strap eyelet can dig into your hand
Motorised manual focus (like all Four Thirds)
Only available in Europe (but the UK can ship!)
