Outdoor scene - Konica Minolta 5D comparison

To compare real-life performance we shot the same scene with each camera within a few minutes of each other using their best quality JPEG settings. We set the bundled lenses to f8 using Aperture Priority mode. The crops are taken from the originals and presented here at 100%.

The image left was taken with the Konica Minolta Dynax 5D using the 18-70mm DT at 40mm f8; the original JPEG measured 4.71MB. Under very close examination, the 5D retains detail where others have smeared, but the effect can be very subtle. That said, no complaints here.
