Canon EOS 40D video tour

We're pleased to present a short video tour of the Canon EOS 40D. This video discusses the EOS 40D's size and design, along with demonstrating its screen, controls, Live View and PC remote control facilities. We also have two additional videos demonstrating the 40D's silent shooting mode and also how the Live View feature can help in specialist fields like astro-photography - see links above.

There's no need to download any new software - just press the play button in the middle of the screen below and wait for the video to start; you may need to press the button twice. The quality and any delay before playing may vary depending on your internet connection.

Live View and PC remote control.
Effective anti-dust during our test period.

Bad points
Resolution not a big step-up.
Default settings benefit from sharpening.
Screen doesn’t have VGA resolution.
No HDMI port and tough rivals.
