Hi there,

Grabbed this macro from my garden this morning 11th July 2008 - soon after this beauty opened up

Nice flower. I think the photo would have benefited from a little underexposure. The detail in the white areas is pretty much gone.

It is also a bit more user-friendly if you post the photo in the thread with image tags around the URL.

In the post box it should look like this:

Use the [Preview] button to check that it works and then post it with the [Submit] button.

BTW. Did you use a flash? I get the impression you did. I prefer available light over flash light most of the times.

Thank you for explaining how to make the image visible in the thread!! Very useful.
Yes I did use a ring-flash, on a very low setting. Natural light would not have been sufficient at f#20. It was still underexposed, I used the standard CS3 method to push the exposure up - maybe I overdid it!
