Lowliferider what a great seesaw shot. I have seen similar taken on roundabouts but the seesaw shot is the first time i have seen something like this. Very good. After seeing it, it made me want to try this too, but at the moment it is a miserable dull overcast and rainy day.

Taken yesterday at 2pm in bright sun conditions, no PP

Image

Lens: VR 18-200mm F/3.5-5.6 G
Focal Length: 200mm
Exposure Mode: Shutter Priority
Metering Mode: Spot
1/800 sec - F/22
Exposure Comp.: -0.7 EV
Sensitivity: ISO 200

You can see two riders behind the wave.

Cheers

Edit.

I cropped this one and sent it to the local newspaper and called it night surfing, They printed this in the weather/wave condition section and called it afternoon surfing. Maybe they thought some idiots may try out night surfing if they did not change the title. :D

Cheers

It's too dark,
maybe the ISO at 100 would of been better, with the EV higher.
Can anybody confirm this?

while it's under exposed, i liked it because it was under exposed, it makes it different and adds a different feel to it.
