So I just acquired myself a Dell Inspiron laptop, but now I see Quickset 64 in my list of software, what does this do?
Searching Google I found only people asking where to find it or the update pages of Dell.

I'm pretty sure it adds a couple of menu entries regarding dell-specific buttons.

hehe, nice avatar :-)

But do you need this to keep your Dell laptop working properly, or is it something you can uninstall?

Hehe thanks. Quick and dirty photoshop :p
I'd keep quickset installed, it doesn't eat much memory and is pretty useful.

It provides access to some settings. On the work laptops I usually uninstall it since I never use it.
