I'm looking for an inexpensive tripod to go along with a Nikon D90 camera. Having never purchased a tripod, I thought i'd see what some of you might recommend.

I also am in need of a camera bag to go along with the camera and was looking at the Tamrac 5586 Expedition. There's a kit available that includes the bag and the tripod. The only details I can find on the tripod suggest its manufactured by Precision design.

Any comments?

I've not come across them - I think most here would agree that if you want a high quality tripod, you should buy one from Manfrotto. They have lots of different legs and heads to choose from.

Feel free to discuss bags in the bag section...
