Haha, depends where you buy it from. A job also helps ;-) Don't buy it from a regular store as you'll pay around 100 quid more than on line. London Camera Exchange had it for 400 pounds at the time that I bought mine lol. I bought mine from amazon.co.uk 305 pounds, they have it listed for 314 pounds now.

I'd go for warehouseexpress if I had to chose between them.

IMHO, I'd save yourself any hassles and just get it from amazon as they have it in stock. Warehouseexpress have it on backorder, i.e not in stock.

The prices have obviously gone up along with all of Nikon glass and gear. You could find the 105 VR Micro for 485 pounds or so four months ago, now you can't find it for less than 600. So in short, lenses have gone up by around 20%. The 70-200 VR could be had for around 1300 pounds. Not it goes for around 1500. Sucks but hey.

Here are a few street candids from today, taken with the 70-300VR, the D80. Iso used was around the 400 mark.

Aaahhh I want this lens so bad. Hopefully by the beginning of August I will have the funds to get myself one. It looks very nice and will go well with the 18-105
