Orsan kart, I'm glad to see that I'm to see that I'm not the only one that thinks that your shots rules! Great interpretation of the theme and excellent use of black and white

congrats

I had planned to vote for orsan's cold, but the pengiun from bob Anderson got the vote. I just love those damn birds.

Good job everyone!

By the way, are you allowed to put your vote on your own photo? (I didn't)

Thanks for voting for me - if you did.

If I hadn't voted for myself I would have voted for Orsan Kart - in my opinion his entry is in a different league to everybody else's (especially mine).

Exposure is spot on and the whole composition just draws you in and makes you linger.
Thought provoking I suppose is what I'm trying to say. Would look great poster size on a wall.

:)

wait... I'm confused, maybe i just never noticed this before but do we reset the votes at the end of the month when the submissions end? earlier we had some 89+ (on novembers assignment) votes and last i checked we're down to just 36, or am i just going crazy!?

EDIT

scratch that i got confused between November and October!

Yup my name is Lowe and my dad(Rest his soul) was in the Merchant Navy in his younger days - so there is a distinct possibility we are related. He was into photography as well. ;-)

I also agree Quentin. Orsan got my vote this month too. In fact, i think hes the Master of Darkness , :D hahaha by that i mean when it comes to black and white photography hes second to none.

Your submission was very good too, Quentin, very unusual. :)sue

There are several commendable entries, but all who've entered deserve praise. Good luck with the December assignment, and keep snapping away.

Goodbye.

Congratulations to Orsan Kart who's won November's Assignment with a landslide victory! And extra congratulations for being the first person to win the Assignment twice!

Ok Orsan, it's over to you to decide on a theme for January's Assignment...
