The original entry "wasn't allowed" as, from memory, it wasn't taken during October. So no problem, Roy. 8)

Khol changed his submission because his first one was not taken during the month of assignment - so he had to change it.

The rules still state that you may only submit once.

Thanks, Sue. I posted it in some of my flickr groups...and clearly they don't like it. LOL Hope you will be posting photos from your trip, can hardly wait to see them. I appreciate your noticing my post. Shallowlife, tell your gf thanks, as that's the look I was going for. Alex, your post is very dramatic, and I like it a lot, and Dryan..you have no reason to hate this side of the camera..none whatsoever. Bob Anderson...I can barely see you in there and we like upside down hair.

I pulled my entry because I noticed this morning that I had actually taken the photo in September. Good luck to everyone.

Kinda hoped I could have changed my original entry, as I've done a little more PP to make an impactful shot instead of a quick hack job. Guess I should have thought that through a bit more before I hit submit a couple weeks ago

I know I can't but I'll still post the new one here with the old submission for comparison...

Hi Plymer, if it reassures you at all, I prefer the original submitted version!

Yeah, I may have taken the surreal-look a bit overboard :P

Thanks :)

I've popped this in the September thread, but in case it hasn't spread:

The next theme will be:

Cold

Present an image that represents this subject, be it something tangible or abstract. As we're dealing with digital photography, we'll embrace post-processing and have no limits in that area.

Good luck, and have fun.

Hey Tim... Just for the sake of asking what does the stone represent??? I also wear something similar with my dog-tag... It is an eye... Ill have to take a photo of it... It is something my brother gave me before he got home from Iraq. I wear it everyday just like you. My dog-tag however does not say my name, it says my brothers, his unit and a few other things.
