Hi folks,

This morning the Net abounds with the news that Pentax is dropping the price of the K20D to $999.95. I haven't been able to track down the source at a Pentax site (you can read the press release by following one of the links from this Google search) but the new price is some $300 less than the introductory price for the camera so I would hope that we'll see some significant reductions in the advertised prices in the next few days.

Bob.

Well the K10/100/110d, Pentax had best bang for buck in the segment. The K20d and K200d seemed to try and changed this by aiming at a more advanced user. It seems like Pentax is just keeping the K20d relevant and allowing it keep up with the likes of the new 50d and D90.
