SnS - definitely eagle-eyed! Good spot, and a shame. That was one of the front-running entries so far. Katiebug has my vote so far, though there's plenty of time for others to catch my attention.

Just took a shot for the Whos photo is better-thread in the Off topic-section, and found out this month's theme is a self-portrait! Great! :D Entered the same image (hope that's allowed) because I like it.

Ben, nice work on that portrait!
The others have made a good start to the thread as well.

Orsan and Khol, that's a real shame your entries don't qualify - we can either delete your entries, or you can swap them for images taken this month - feel free to recreate them if you like (as they're very good), but to stay in the rules, they must be taken during the month of entry - ie, during October 2008.

Let us know what you'd like to do.

How come Orsan's entry, "Che Osbourne" was on his flickr since September 8?

I'm sorry if you feel that way, but rules were set. I'll be defending SnS here - he's done nothing wrong and you ought not to use that sort of language towards another member.

I'll let the mods handle this one.

Surely a solution can be found so everybody will be at peace. The people who missed that rule could simply retake a shot & post it again.

I hate to whine every single month, but it's just my nature...hehehe, THIS month when I have a perfectly compliant, co-operative subject, I can't download anything from my camera...so...let's see....perhaps if I take off Microsoft Office.....yea..that's it...and Orson, actually, I think this photo is more eclectic and compelling than the other one..so..no worries mate.

Heh yeah Roy something like that :)

Actually theres this guys work I have been studying and he shoots images that are really gritty and moody in broad daylight and that kind of inspired this shoot really, after much mucking around with the snoot I got the lighting I wanted within a few shots so was quite happy really, still it took about 30 minutes to set it all up and get... Sloooooow process haha

Good grief Mark! I'd hate to meet you in a dark alley at night. Very imposing expression.
