I was like 'Oh My Gosh' when I saw the theme because I really thought it was rather interesting.

I learn photography by 'subjects' (so far I've covered 'Macro' in the syllabus by myself) and now I am touching on People/Portraiture so this theme will be fun. It will be even more of a challenge since I have to either shoot a mirror or use tripod+self timer.

Good luck everyone! I know many of y'all have beautiful self portraits!

AAAACCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCK!

This is not an easy one! Good going Zorro...it just so happens that for one of my classes, we have to present a self portrait. This will get me up off of it, and thinkin'...

I can hardly wait to see what everyone comes up with! Love that one, Orsan..menacing, almost...decidedly deep and dark...Che Osborne...lol..I love it.

Orsan i too like your mean and moody photo, yep i can see a similarity with che, but i also see you as a baddie straight out of a spaghetti western.,minus the cheroot and a poncho. Gunning for a few votes there i bet    Regards sue

Thanks Gordon. I think the spark for the idea came partly because of Defiance's thread about smileys. Since I felt it wasn't so easy to come up with something original I thought I'd better post early so as not to risk someone else having the same idea and posting one before me.
That has happened at least once before on a previous assignment.

Ben

Well for me at this moment "Orsan" is way out in front with Katiebug coming a close second, someone will have to come up with something really spectacular to get my vote.

I'd hate to spoil the fun, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, but I have a question.

How come Orsan's entry, "Che Osbourne" was on his flickr since September 8?

Take a good look yourself : http://www.flickr.com/photos/marksmagiceye/2839948308/
