...but because there was no shots from the 2 or 3 outings I went out for to photograph trees and nature for this month's Assignment.
I do not like to submit something I don't like so...thats about it.
Oh don't be like that! We often can be harsh on ourselves with the results we achieve. You never know, you could be holding onto a gem. As for my last few entries, have you seen the effort? (answer = nil). I don't even like my entries, save for the fun of entering. Here's a mini reminder:
Theme - power of light (see the effort!).
Theme - reflections (bent post-it note on a sheet of white paper).
And then we have this month (see page 5). I take these assignments ever so light-heartedly without the hope of winning. It is the cliche that goes: "it's not all about winning, it's the taking part that counts". I hope you change your mind and can enter something before time's up.
Nice image Ed :)
Bit of a "Stretch" on the assignment I'd say but I reckon you might just be able to "Shoe horn" that one in haha ;) (although I should say that I am aware they are stretchers and not shoe horns).
Mark-A: This month was another last minute affair - having seen just 5 pages of just trees, I thought that that couldn't be possible. Enter my lousy creative take outside the box. It took under 2 minutes to create. I just threw together a basic 2 strobe set-up (one directly below the camera, the other to camera left at 45 degrees and above). What I've entered was the end result from the second shot. Thank you for your comment and I'm glad you liked it.
