Hi Gordon , great review !

Maybe you could please the potential buyers (including me) of the lens by putting some pictures of the lens in its widest angle but on a aps-c body to see how wide the field of view is on those camera's.

Hi Bart, I'm glad you found the review useful!

As I'm sure you know, we have a full set of results for the 17-40mm on a cropped body in our 400D lens group test at:

But that's a great idea to shoot the same scene for comparison using the different bodies. I will be getting the 17-40mm again in mid January, so will update the review with coverage examples taken with a Canon APS-C body from exactly the same location for comparison.
