Welcome to the Sony Alpha lenses and accessories guide. Here you'll find all Sony, Zeiss and Sigma lenses compatible with Alpha DSLRs, as well as Sony's accessories for the Alpha products and the camera's themselve. The goal of this thread is for you to be able to easily find the product you're looking for and to create an easy-to-go-through list of all available products compatible with Alpha DSLRs.

For a list of user reviews by Camera Labs members, visit SCREAMnSHOUT's (aka SnS) List of Sony-related user reviews and lens galleries.

NOTE: Tamron lenses will be added in the future!
NOTE: Links to Gordon's/Dyxum's/Photozone's reviews will be added soon, please leave a reply if you'd like to recommend other sites with interesting reviews.
NOTE: Most links will take you to sony.co.uk pages, but since not all products are listed there, some link to sonystyle.com or other sites.

Just added links to Photozone's reviews!
More to come still, I'm thinking of linking to Minolta glass too!

I sent Gordon a PM asking permission to link to other review sites (Dyxum and Photozone were both approved) and suggesting stickying the thread. Hasn't happened yet, but I'm sure it will. Gordon must be busy on a new review :) .

Are you going to add information about Tamron and Sigma lenses? I ask because I've been coveting the DT 18-250 mm lens and from places like Dyxum I've discovered that the Tamron 18-250 mm is practically the same lens yet it costs £100 less than the Sony.

Yes, I will add links to Sigma and Tamron lenses too, including links to Dyxum review pages (only two Photozone reviews for third party lenses).
It will be some more work though adding those lenses, so please be patient...

Just got started on the Sigma lenses. Sigma has a long list of lenses, but I can't find a way to easily look for Sony-compatible lenses only. So now I have to open each link and see whether the lens is compatible for Sony DSLRs.
I hope to get it done on Thursday, tomorrow I'll earn money again (working).

Partly. I had the idea to make this quite before seeing your list, but after looking at that, I began 'construction'.
I'll add a link to your list!
