You're welcome! The K10D video tour produced by Gordon was decisive in my purchase. So I contributed back with my feed-back.

I've been really impressed by the picture #9, the fountain in a public garden, a delicate balance between action and calm, cold and warm. Other exterior pictures (especially #10 and #11) sound familiar to me, somewhere in Paris?

After 2 months of use, I'm still discovering some features of the K10D and testing them.

Actually, it was sort of stressful for me to take the pictures around the fountain. You can't see it on the photographs but close to the fountain, there are some benches underneath the platanes (don't know the English word for that tree) and there are always old ladies sitting there underneath the shade who gossip (especially on Saturdays because they can see the wedding parties coming out of the mairie). Anyway, when I started shooting, they all stopped talking and were looking at me and it made me extremely uncomfortable!



I wish! I'd love to live in Paris (even if it can sometimes be dark and grey and stinky). Alas, I live in my husband's hometown of Limoges and the building that you see is the town's mairie).

Hello there, Cherry! I have been very interested to see how you have been fairing with your K10D. This thread has seriously made me consider it as a VERY strong option. How has your further experience been with it? What do you think of the Pentax glass you have on it? How have you been doing with all of the functions that some talk about as complicated but also say that they are very "learnable".
