Hi dvdrip,

I'll move this one to the "Tripods" forum because tripods aren't really specific to camera manufacturers.

It might help if you gave members an idea about your needs. Is light weight and compactness a requirement or is stability paramount? Maybe also an idea about budget. You can see my own choice in my Signature.

Well if you want the best get a manfrotto etc, but I can recommend the S.I.L.K 300DX. It is very well made no plastic that will break in a few months, great features like reversable centre colum for macro etc and goes well of 6ft fully extended with all the usual pan head with flip and tilt, not that exspensive @ €100.
