I'm gonna sell it though and get a Deathadder again. Open to offers!

Aww why sell it? I have one too, I like the fingertip control you have for PS work.

I do like it and its more sensitive and accurate than a Deathadder IMO but I just like the feel of a Deathadder more. The comfortableness of the Deathadder is better than the little bit better optics of this one.

Well done all, there were quite a few really nice submissions for last month's assignment, and a few in particular. I think I'll leave my comments for until after voting closes.

I took this photo on the 29th, and realised on the 1st that it suits the then assignment.

Mmmmmm, icicles.

Although minimalism is quite subjective, I wonder how well you think it fits the theme.

The July assignment seems to have split the voting a lot so far......what happens if it's a draw? Has this happened before? Sorry if I missed the answer elsewhere.

Nope - no draws so far!

Ahh - a potential dilemma then! If it does happen I suggest we let the person who set the assignment for the month have the casting vote. What does everyone else think?

Isn't voting open until the 20th or later? There's a lot of time yet.

Very true Raymo - I just don't remember seeing a vote so evenly split like this before and wondered what would happen in the case of a draw.

If it doesn't happen this month it probably will sooner or later. I thought about a tie-breaker with everyone voting again for the people with the top score but that could go through a number of iterations to get to the winner.....the only other alternatives I could think of would be for the moderators as a group or the boss (Gordon :D ) to have the casting vote.

Taking all into account it seemed to me the fairest/simplest option would be to give the casting vote to the person who set the assignment in the first place.

Mmm, yes it will probably happen sooner or later.

I've wondered about what to do when votes are tied on a few occasions (for all kinds of things), and in regard to a re-vote, that could work if (obviously) only the tied candidates are up for voting.

I think this is a slightly better way to go though. After all, the person that set the task is the only one that truly knows how the task is to be interpreted.

Thanks to the four people who voted for my entry, it's an honour!
