Since I'm fairly new to Cameralabs, I didn't know if I'd make this month's assignment.
However, coincidentally, on the first of July, I was keeping my photographic theme as minimalism. (Weird habit, set themes per shoot).
I hope this is fine, since it wasn't SPECIFICALLY for this contest.
I defined minimalism as "a photo that screams."
As in, it is a powerful shots that expresses a certain point, or simply so abstract, that you can do nothing but enjoy it.
I don't think I've met my definition quite well, but I'm still learning.
Here is my result:
Titled "The Circle of Confusion," as a bad attempt at sounding photographic
And now a surplus of EXIF:
Camera Model: Canon EOS Kiss Digital X
Lens and focal length: 28-80mm AF lens @ 80 mm
Shutter Speed: 1/25 (hand held)
Post processing: Ran it through some slight curves, out of a habit, and through Neatimage, to get rid of that ISO 1600 noise.
Subject is actually car headlights on the highway.
A feeble attempt, but a shot nonetheless
