I'm sure the A700 could be tweaked to give similar results...

hi guys,

prices just went down on the k20D, via a $100 rebate plus an across the board $50 price decrease. they read the review.

canon has been pushing the 40D prices downwards too though, and the kit with the IS lens is only about a hundred more than the body only.

How can the quality be different if it's the same sensor? (Samsung branded)

Hi Razvan, the final image is not just about the sensor but also the image processing. But before you ask, I can't comment on the GX-20 as I've not tested it!

It's good to see some cheaper prices on the K20D though...

Samsung use a different procesor for JPEG and use DNG instead of RAW.

The GX-20 with kit lens is about 20% less than K20D only body.

The only difference ive noticed on the GX20 was the menus interface, its more sofisticated but i liked the feel of pentax's body though...

One thing i have to say about the K20D's AF is that it resumes to accuracy, it might be sometimes slower than rivals - lets say Canon 40D- but its more accurate because it double checks it, so its a matter of choise, if your into professional jobs like photojournalism you would probably go with faster focus (if you play close attention many pictures you see in newspapper and magazines are OOF), but if your more into an artistic area you should go with Accuracy
