Camera Labs

Hey guys, I'm wanting to buy my first Tripod for my first DSLR cam.

I have just bought a Sony Alpha A200 camera and I cant justify paying a lot of money for a tripod? Dont they all do the same thing?

I am looking at Argos Deluxe 153cm Camera/VideoTripod with Carry Case

Do you think this will be ok?

I currently use a £30 tripod too (borrowed from work!), and it does me ok. Sure you can get more expensive ones with lighter weight or better mechanisms, but as long as it remains stable in use and can be easily configured to do what you want it to, it should be fine.

I think £30 is plenty as this is my first DSLR. It will do fine whilst I'm learning.

well im using This off amazon for £12 and its fine for me, after all a tripod is a tripod.

For £12 this tripod is a bargin. it seels sturdy and stable and seems to do the job well.
