The thread where you tell us all what you've been spending your hard earned pennies on :D I know this particular thread is very popular on other forums so thought I'd be the one to start it here. This thread is basicly just to share what you've purchased. Obviously it would be more suited to post things camera related, but you can post other things too.

I'll start;

I'm a big fan of on line shopping, and this is what came in the mail for me today;

1 x Nikon EN-EL3e Battery for my Nikon D80
1 x Photographic Solutions Sensor cleaning 'Brush off' brush
SD Cards; 1 x 2gb Sandisk Extreme III , 1 x 4gb Sandisk Extreme III
1 Sandisk Micro mate reader that came with the 4gb card
1 x Photographic solutions bottle of E2 Sensor cleaning liquid

There's nothing wrong with SDs (except in my case I have to juggle both SD and CF).

Recent purchase:

A new stack of 100 3x5" white index cards.

I was loling at the fact i had brashly assumed that the D80 used CF.

Nout wrong with SD.

CF just looks better when you stack them lol.

Indeed I thought the problem was with CF cards was that it's possible to bend the pins.

Nothing recently, I will be getting a 40d soon hopefully no more than a month.

I do have to get some CF cards when I get it, any recommendations on like good brands and sizes?

I just looked at the list of stuff I want, and I have 2 Sandisk 4GB cards written down, you guys think those will be good?

Just bought...
canon 40D
canon 50mm 1.8
lowepro flipside 200-i plan on doing a review once i buy some more goodies to fill it with
Sandisk Extreme III 4GB
rocket air blower-recomended by Gordon
lens pen

plan to buy a canon 17-40mm f4L as my 50mm 1.8 definitely has its limitations, like really slow focusing!

by the way jake the Sandisk Extreme III 4GB CF works very well in the 40D doesn't seem to slow it down and it holds about 1000 pictures on the large/fine setting
