Here are some photos from yesterday, I stood next to the road and took blurry shots of cars. The best part was seeing a Lotus Cortina. I still haven't worked out how to post photos directly to here so I will usher you to my fotopic site. There is also a cow picture. Oh and a nice pic of some leaves with water droplets on.
http://myfirstportfolio.fotopic.net/p50789801.html (thats the cow one)
http://myfirstportfolio.fotopic.net/p50789802.html (LEAVES!)
http://myfirstportfolio.fotopic.net/p50789803.html (Blurry BMW X5)
http://myfirstportfolio.fotopic.net/p50789804.html (Semi-Blurry Skoda)
http://myfirstportfolio.fotopic.net/p50789805.html (Really dynamic looking Mini)
http://myfirstportfolio.fotopic.net/p50789806.html (Really blurry Volvo)
http://myfirstportfolio.fotopic.net/p50789807.html (A Micra going fast)
http://myfirstportfolio.fotopic.net/p50789808.html (LOTUS CORTINA!)
As I took the blurry car ones I had Gordon's voice in my head from his DSLR Tips workshop "Swing with the car young Matthew"

Mmmm, fried scallops with onion rings from Lenny and Joe's down by the shoreline. Very delicious, and I am proud of this shot since everytime I look at it...it makes me hungry!

Since it's near lunch time here where I am, I figured it would be an appropriate time to post this.

1/40 sec
f/8
35 mm
ISO 180

Shot in RAW and then duplicated and saved that version with an exposure bias of +2. Combined in Photomatix using subtle settings so the image wouldn't look HDR'd, but would just look evenly exposed and x-tra delicious.

Hope it makes you hungry! View the large version for extra hunger pangs.

Anyway here's mine for today. i decided to have a go at still life. Taking photos is so much easier than trying to unknot my fingers after Flight of the Bumblebee!!!

Here are my favorite shots I did of my girlfriends pendant.

and

This one was a rush edit, so its still the 10mp resolution and the sharpening is terrible.... I havent cleaned up the photo as much as I did the one above.

Nice work Miki, good idea to put a such a music paper (what's the name?) under the instrument.
Syncharmony: you're pictures makes me hungry.

I took this shot today:

Correct me if it's not a seagull, my knowledge of birds is close to zero.

Camera Model: Sony DSLR-A700
Lens and focal length: Carl Zeis 16-80mm F3.5-4.5 @ 80mm
Aperture: F4.5
Shutter Speed: 1/2000 sec.
Sensitivity: ISO 100
Post processing: cropped (a lot)

I wish I had the 70-200 already, then I could get at least a bit closer to birds. Only 67% to go...
