Hi guys!
Been practicing a bit and thought I would put up a few shots and see what you all think. I like this lens but it does lack a little in the wide angle department. It also doesn't give you a great zoom, but does do a little of both.
Anyways please comment on how they look and/or how I can improve:) Thanx!!!

The above shot is of a baby copperhead along the creek bed.
The below shot is of my brother-in-law. I was practicing trying to blur the background by zooming in with the lens wide open in av mode.

Maybe a tad of fill in flash to eliminate the shadows....but a great shot.

Excellent lens for the price. USM is quick and quiet, IS comes in handy. Wide angle isn't very good though, you will be wishing you had something a tad wider for landscapes and group shots. Otherwise I am happy with this lens. Build quality is ok. I use it primarily for studio and outdoor work, until I can afford L lenses.
