Hello all you Nikon Fans

If you're contemplating either of the above cameras, then check out the cashbacks you can get on them from next month. It seems like you can get them just with a standard kit, or a little extra if you buy a 2nd lens at the same time as your new kit. Not massive, but certainly helpful if you already know what you want!

The prices are in £ and €, so I presume its valid throughout Europe

And so it seems we'll have a D80X / D90 sometime later this year, possibly as early as July.

Actually its valid only for UK and Ireland- the euro prices are only for the latter :(

Hi folks,

I've updated the title of this thread and moved it into the Rebates forum. The promotion actually runs from 25th February and 30th June 2008 for the D40 and D80 and from 20th March and 30th June 2008 for the D60.

There is an additional rebate for UK purchasers who purchased a D60 camera over the bank holidays in May (1st May - 7th May 2008 or the 22nd May – 28th May.

There is an additional rebate for Republic of Ireland purchasers who purchased a D60 camera between 1st May - 7th May 2008.

Check this Nikon web page for the details.

Bob.

The D80x/D90 has not been released yet, and at the moment is just speculation. However, it is expected that Nikon will release a successor to the D80 in the near future.
