According to the Pentax site they still aren't available yet. I have been able to find them on a few, a VERY few, online sellers. Some for delivery in about a month and some immediately available. Hellix Photo was the only that I actually found them available.

Does anyone know when this series will become available? they were supposed to be out in March...

I have also heard of a 60-250 f4.0 coming out in this series. Anyone hear anything about this one?

In France, according to one retailer (www.digixo.com), the 16-50 and 50-135 lenses are said to be available mid-September.

Other retailers show only 'pre-order'.

The latest lens roadmap from Pentax :arrow: http://www.digital.pentax.co.jp/en/lens/ stipulates
  • for 16-50 and 50-135 lenses: 'Available in the near future'
  • for 60-200 lens: 'Targeted availability : December, 2007'

Just wait and see :)

I received a call from a French Pentax reseller about the shipment date of the Pentax SMC DA* 50-135mm f/2,8 ED [IF] SDM I ordered last month : next week :)

However, the same reseller gives no date for the Pentax SMC DA* 16-50mm f/2,8 ED AL [IF] SDM :(
