Ladies and Gents,
I am both honored and appreciative to have been selected from among so many worthy shots. I also am thankful for the suggestion to post it in the "on assignment" section. This has been a wonderful place to explore my budding interest in photography, and I look forward to a long relationship with this community and all of its characters!

On to business: My choice for the May theme is "Reflection". The thought came to me as I observed a group engaging in meditative prayer. However, all sorts of reflection are game...optical, metaphysical, and everything in between. Though I prefer the pure images, I would say that this sort of topic requires an open field, so post processing and montages are fine. Flex those creative muscles!

Thank you all again for your votes, and for helping fashion a place where photographers of all levels may gather to learn more about this craft.

Regards,
Blake

Hi and thanks Blake for the new theme. It has got me thinking and I may need to look up my thesaurus to see the full range of options. Can't wait to get out at the weekend

Seems like an interesting and challenging theme, Blake. I'm already starting to get some ideas, thanks! :D
