Gordon, have you heard anything on the grapevine on your side of the pond about this annoucement of new cameras from Panasonic/Lumix?

All I've heard is there's likely to be an announcement soon, but that's all!

Since Matsushita developed the sensor in the E410 / E510, it's likely this will also be in any new Panansonic DSLRs - so check the E410 and E510 reviews to see how the imnage quality might work out. But interestingly Panasonic has always supported lens based optical stabilisation, so I'd be very surprised to find a new body with in-camera anti-shake. I wonder if Leica will have a budget kit lens for it, or whether they will use the Olympus 14-42mm?

As for looks, Panasonic said at the time of the L1 that it's future models would be more conventionally-styled.
