Hi Guys
What about "Botanical" as a theme? I mean anything to do with horticulture, ie plants, flowers.......
Cheers

hi, in my purely personal opinion some of the best images contain in some part images of people. May I suggest a theme of PEOPLE AT WORK for sometime in the future. This might include such things as building sites, or an office setting maybe.
regards GCJ

I would like to say that my suggestion of people at work was meant not to photograph your own job ( if that was the case I would send you all asleep with my posting) but to record occupations that we all come across everyday.
Regards GCJ :)

In National Geographic a while back there was an article called the power of light.

I purpose as a submission we illustrate the power of light.

I had an idea, and I'm not too sure if it has been discussed, but I thought this might be an interesting idea...

What is it now?

Team Challenges!

It could work like this:

Big teams, divided into smaller teams, in different challenges, like a bracket for sports seasons.

Example:

Team Canon > Team XD/XXD
Team Canon > Team XT/XTI/XSI

Team Nikon > Team DXX
Team Nikon > Team DXXX

Maybe something we can all work on, but teams from Sony, Olympus, Canon, Pentax, Nikon, and etc... All compete in a series of challenges, and there is a panel of judges that critique team entries and choose the overall winner(s).

Then it boils into the finals, "_____" vs. "______"

I don't know, what do you all think? Figured it could be fun...

Best,
-Sean

nice idea above ^^^, but would there be enough entries to each section? seriously though, i like the porposal for one month or so. Nikons best against the best in Canon, sony, pentax etc... (as a one off perhaps.. a super compo!)

my idea for a theme is "age" ie a photo showing the age of something, eg a tree, person, building.... Young or old! :)

something loosely based on the Theory of relativity perhaps?

ya know, things in motion stay in motion and all that goodness.

a.k.a. "Motion"

How about a simple yet can-be-beautiful theme like "The colour GREEN"?

I like that SnS! Simple and great at the same time. And green is my favourite colour!
