Hey everyone, I was just reading an article at DIYPhotography.net, called 25 ways to Jump start your photography. And before I continue, if you've never been to the site, go there now, you're really missing out on cool stuff. So go see some of the Cool stuff they have there.

Ok so about this Photo-a-week thing, its just a little idea for now, and before I continue I'd like to hear your ideas. I am thinking of starting a photography blog kind of like a cross between a lot of them. It'll cover a huge range of topics, but one thing I want is to have a project like that 365 days on flickr (where you shoot a self portrait every day for 1 year) But different in a sense its only one photo/week and its not a self portrait its anything. it could be a newer more modern version of an original work, or something totally new and inspirational

So, who would help out?

Jake

Hi Jake,

Would you like me to move this thread into the Off-topic forum or do you intend the "Photo-A-Week project" to be about "Still Life photography"?

Bob.

Not exactly sure what you mean. Are you saying we taking a picture of absolutely anything once a week?

I've got about 160 now, so If you're interested ;)
Just need a little help on how to put them into a movie...

Hi Paukl,

Something like Adobe Premiere allows you to import single frame images and then convert to a number of various movie formats, but this is fairly expensive (I got my copy with a Digital capture card a couple of years ago - I would be happy to run you off a movie though if you want to upload the images somewhere that I can grab them by FTP).

Alternatively if you have XP I believe you can do something similar with http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/moviemaker2.mspx from Micro$oft - I have never used this software though...

EDIT: Typo Corrected
