A local photographic/video studio just called my house and said I was accepted in commission-paid internship in Lighting, Wedding photography, Graphic Design, and Sports (didn't get fashion and lifestyle).

I'm So Happy!!!! :D :D :D

Whoa hey that's great!! Congratulations - nicely done.

...must've worked for you to drop some names here from the cameralabs forums, right?

"I know Gordon Laing"
"Wow you do? Is it true that he looks like that Hitman character they just made a movie about"?"
"Yeah, and his shooting is equally sharp!"
"You sound like the right person for us...but before we issue your access card, we need this signature from you stating that you have nothing to do with that Bob Andersson guy first...."

Joking aside - that's really a great opportunity - I'm sure you'll learn lots and lots and I look forward to seeing and hearing about what you learn there. Keep us posted?

Cheers :-)

Thanks Everyone!

I don't actually start working full-time until the summer since I got school and other things going on. Right now I volunteer or help out when I go on location, I get to interact with the clients and when the people like my photos I get a small portion and a new addition to my portfolio.

Here's his website:

Here's some photos I took when we were asked to create a flower book or catalog for a greenery.

And finally (a little photojournalism) I was asked by a different person to document a fundraising event where the highest donor gets to kiss a baby pig.

I'll post some more when I start working full time!

Cheers! :D
