hi,
i am new to photography.
i wonder how to take the rose petals toss in wedding?
does it need any seperate settings or lens?
Can we take in normal mode (using D80 and sigma 105mm)?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Gayathri, welcome to the Cameralabs forum!

It's a tricky shot to get right... If you have a DSLR, I'd consider putting it into continuous shooting mode, increasing the sensitivity to, say, 400 ISO, to have a better chance of a quick exposure, then find your spot and keep your finger on the button as the action starts!

If you're feeling brave and think you can get it in one shot, then a flash can prove effective at freezing the action.

If it's a really important wedding for you, then I'd practice first with some torn up paper...

Thank you very much for the reply.
I will try tossing the papers, first.
