I am looking to buy my new and first Canon flash for my Canon 7D for 2 reasons, for personal lighting in the dark and shadow fillers, and for paid photography.
The flashes I am comparing are the 600ex rt and 430ex ii.
I know the major differences, and those that matter to me most are, the light range(not radio control range, that dont matter to me now) the power guide number, meaning of course how powerful the flash is, af assist beam and how much I can turn each flash head.

I know the Canon 600ex rt is more powerful with a much longer range from the subject at 60m at focal length 200mm, and tilts more than the 430ex ii, 61 assist focal points over the 9 focal point of the 430 ex ii.

I know the limits of the 600 ex rt on crop cameras and they dont matter to me.

What is most important to me that I know and not yet seen, is a comparison between the 2 lenses when it comes to flash power, I have searched all over the internet and I just keep getting videos that do not compare nor show me how powerful the 600ex flash really is compared to the 430 ex ii.

If any one can pls show me the differences between the power of those two flashes (not tell me) in the form of videos and sample pictures of direct comparisons, thank you!

If you want to go all out and learn about flash photography, then Speedliter's Handbook: Learning to Craft Light with Canon Speedlites by Syl Arena is a good read.

I have not seen any video that can explain it as well as that book.

Generally speaking, the 430ex II is perfect for learning flash photography. If you are unsure, then the 430 is probably the flash for you.
Another option would be the Phottix Mitros TTL Flash which is the equivalent of a 580ex II.
