hi guys n girls

ive watched the tutorial videos on this site in regards to sunsets. was very helpfull.

on my d3200 which mode ( on the dial on top) am i best to use to get all the settings right ? Manual ?

Manual or aperture I guess & dial in some -EV (try -1 first, then adjust as necessary)

I think shooting manual without experience could get some lousy shots. :( I would suggest program mode so you can see what the camera selects for the shot, using this as a baseline you can then adjust setting to your needs. :D

I agree with Carlos, dial in some -EV.
