This is my first image posted on this forum, and is of Willy Lotts's house, close to Flatord Mill (home of John Constable (1776-1837).

Willy Lott Lott was the childhood friend of John Constable, and worked for John's father, who owned the mill.

The house features in one of John Constable's paintings, and hasn't changed in over 200 years.

Picture taken at sundown, on a summer evening.

I spent a fair bit of time over in Oz. My daughter and family lived in WA for 5 years, and I have cousins in both Brisbane and Melbourne.

Hope you not too near those terrible bush fires in NSW. :(

I agree with 4xxxx, it does give quite a calm feel, though I've never been to the UK, so I don't know what he means exactly. I think the time of day that you shot it was pretty much spot-on, it does the house good justice.
