Let us know how you like the Sony QX10 popo, I'm very interested in that myself!

Got myself another book yesterday:

Well I was thinking of buying a camera, but when I've heard about iPhone 5s I suddenly changed my mind and have brought new iPhone 5s whose camera quality is amazing just like SLR cameras...I feel like awesome..

Any camera phone can not simply beat the quality from a D-SLR!. It's the glass, colour and the sensor makes the difference. Though if you want something small and awesome, go for the Leica M system, best lenses in the world!

Anyways.

I bought some upgrades to my PC
A new case: Corsair Obsidian 750D
Gigabyte Z78X-UD5H
another GTX670OC
and a new CPU, i7 4770K :D.

Also something light and small for my field projects / studies.
Macbook Air 11" with i7, 8GB and 512GB SSD with Student Discount :)

Looking forward to using the macbook.

And a couple of books for my course: Commercial Photography, 3rd year:

Photography: A Critical Introduction, Edited by Liz Wells
Setting up a successful Photography Business, by Lisa Prichard
Contemporary Art, A very short introduction by Julian Stallabrass

Just ordered prints for my first exhibition! :D

The exhibition will take place at my university, near the Student Service Centre, which is apparently a very busy place (I've never been there myself). I'll put up 13 photographs from my time at the university, all of which are related to student life.

15" "Retina" MacBook Pro with Final Cut Pro X and Adobe's "Photographer" bundle (Photoshop and Lightroom). So basically, Adobe lost out on a full CS suite purchase (~$2,000) in place of $10/mo., so they'll break even in approximately 20 years! LOL! Yes, this assumes they won't raise the rental fee, which I'm sure they will (which is another reason I refused to rent the full suite in the "creative cloud"), but it also assumes I would never have upgraded from CS7, which I probably would have. (I've been using Photoshop since v4.0 and upgraded to the full CS4 suite (and subsequently CS5 and CS5.5) back in 2009 when I stated shooting video on my GH2.)

Speaking of shooting video on cameras, I also bought a Canon 70D (was waiting to upgrade since Lightroom 4 doesn't support 70D RAW files) and a Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 (EF-S).

And an Olympus 17mm f1.8 lens - Mark

Just got my first "L" :D I went old school used and got a 28-70 f/2.8 L. However, I'm finding that my personal T2i is not focusing as well as my military 40D. It seems to hunt at really wide apertures :(

Just bought a Canon TS-E 24mm 3.5L II, I found out that my TS-E 45mm 2.8 was too narrow for my architectural work, but it's still great for detail shots :)
