This is the thread for any comments or questions concerning September's Competition. Also, if you have any pictures older than six months you would like to share, please do so here.

OH DO WAKE UP FOLKS. 17th of the month and only 2 entries, one from a Forum Boss and one from a Geriatric. Possibilities abound for this challenge, if the sun doesn't shine use a lamp!

That's a great picture Mike, a very imposing shadow indeed!
And you're right, it's time for us all to wake up. If the weather in your area is as terrible as it is here in Holland, don't be afraid to either take a picture indoors or look through some of the pictures you took this summer. Remember, you can win a cool eBook about wildlife photography!

I thought this topic would be good for everyone. If possible I try to get a shot taken in the month but so far nothing that interests me to shoot. With sun for the last few months of winter and now the first couple of weeks of spring its still the same weather with temps up to 33c last week. I have a backup if I don’t get a shot but my wife says I have no imagination if I post it, so I have my own critic on hand. :D

Cheers

Well done Mike. That looked like a winner from the start.

Thanks folks ... I confess that it was one of those things that just happen fortuitously. I was shooting away at Puffins, came back home to see what I had got in the can, some decent bird shots and among them that one. Which turned out to be the best of the bunch. Entirely by accident!

I do wish we could get some more folks competing though, it certainly makes me raise my game.
