Thanks MrCliff.

Guess I miss understood my dad, he was giving me some of his stuff not his full kit. He has a Canon A1. He kept his FD 50 f1.4 and camera but gave me his macro bellos kit and his FD 85-300 f4.5. Should be fun to play with. I love the fell of those solid metal FD lens.

I had a bug in my 5D3 earlier today. Quite literally as it was crawling around on top of my focusing screen   After a couple of minutes it wandered off to the side and I haven't seen it since

There's a spec of dust inside the camera of my phone :( No way to clean inside it. Only hope it falls out of the way shortly.

I never use it anyway, but it's still annoying knowing it is there.

I am thinking I am grateful for the short break in the tropical weather, for the past few days, though tomorrow the forecasted high temperature is 88 F, which is 30+ C. (I think I correct in remembering that 86 F is equivalent to 30 C.) The cooler weather is a reminder that Autumn bird migration is nearing.

Im just thinking about what I should write on my third project proposal for my course at university.

I wrote 2 other project proposal, which kind of gave me a headache for thinking too much.

And Im looking forward to get my Macbook Air 11"

The first thing I said when getting my new phone was: "I'll never use my phone's camera!" It's a phone! And I already have some nice cameras

Wow, looking through some of my photos from when I started out in DSLR photography in 2009, I'm amazed by the amount of crap I shot, and even more amazed that I've kept it!
I've certainly progressed since then. Cartier-Bresson was right in saying "your first 10000 photographs are your worst"!

I think it's probably closer to the first 20,000 in my case, haha!

I guess that's true of us all, janern.

Even after I/we have passed the 10000 shots & think, yeah I'm very happy with my images, I bet if we look back on # 20000+ in X-years time, we'll still be able to criticise ourselves somewhat & realise it's a constant learning curve.

Yeah, now it's the digital age. We probably just have to add another 0 at the end of the 10.000.
