I am using a Nikon D800 with I meike battery grip

Have some doubts in the mind from the day 1 i own the battery grip!
Which battery option is better in this combo, using the EN -EL 15( original) inside the camera and adding 8- AA batteries inside the grip
or adding an extra EN-EL15 on the grip.
Meike provided two adapters, 1 for holding the original battery and other one for holding 8 AA batteries
Which 1 is the better option

Second doubt is
original battery is rating 7 Volts 1900mAh
But a single AA( eneloop in my case) is 1.2 V and 1900mAh
thats means there will be the power difference in the two setups!
Will that voltage difference cause damage to my gears??
Bit confused
Can someone give some light regarding my quarries

Hope I managed to convey the doubts that i am having in my mind and this is the right section to ask my question ?
