maxjj, does the t4i & t3i AF FAST ENOUGH to track and focus quickly on running humans and relatively fast animals?

Any can answer this please!

Yes, they are absolutely fast enough. If I can get sharp shots of Formula 1 cars taking a corner at well over 150mph using my 550D (aka T2i), the T3i and T4i most certainly are fast enough to track animals or people running.

Next year I buy the 70D at hopefully $800 or much lower!!

Unless you get a second hand one, I can't see the price dropping to that level next year as there's no incentive to reduce the price so early in its life. I can easily see the 60D getting a substantial price reduction for retailers and dealers to clear stock but definitely not the 70D until it has been on the market for at least a couple of years.

I am currently looking up a good old like new used XXD DSLR to use with the EFS 15-85mm. either one of these 30D, 40D or 50D, which ever is the right price at the time I will buy it.
I buying which ever for the lowest price possible as I buy it just to learn and experiment before I buy the 70D as my long term camera, or maybe the 7D Mark II, if i succeed in getting a bigger income!

I want to buy a good bit more lenses first, a wide zoom and at most 2 primes, it appears to be possible for me to save for now!

Can anyone please tell me if the Image Quality of the EF 8-15mm Lens is Better on a given crop frame camera than the EF-S 10-22mm and BOTH Sigma 10-20mm lenses are on the same given crop frame camera?

And please have actual experience with the lenses mention on the same crop frame camera!

I love my 50D and 350D both, so, melting them together gets you a 20/30D. That should get you quite far I guess, as I can take beautiful shots (they say it!) with my 350D which has almost the same IQ as a 20D or 30D.

Ruben have you used the EF 8-15mm on those cameras you just mentioned?

Nope, but I used the 70-200 L and Tamron 17-50 2.8 (which is comparable with Canon's 17-50 2.8 ) and both deliver very high quality.
