On the beach at Whitby, Yorkshire, UK. Two youngsters take time for each other.

The shot is nice, but I think the POV is too wide, the couple is virtually lost in the image, with nothing leading to them. Maybe getting actually physically closer to them might've resulted in a better shot. As a landscape it's interesting though :)

I agree, basically, with pierovera; a very nicely-composed landscape shot that just happens to have some tiny people in it. :)

Sorry chaps. Just my warped sense of humour. I do this sometimes - give a pic a title that makes people wonder or work at. Not too often though.

I'm afraid I agree with the above comments. Without your comment/title there is nothing to lead the eye or indicate that anyone or anything is the intended subject. It is basically a photograph of a lot of (mostly) empty sand. A case of "nice try but...." I'm afraid.

Unfortunately the overcast English weather also makes it a fairly poor landscape. Nothing interesting in the foreground, boring light and dull sky. Faced with those conditions I think you would have had much better results getting down on the beach and trying for a much closer "couple walking along the windy beach shot" - the diffuse light would have worked in your favour in a closer shot and you would have been able to eliminate all the boring empty background. Alternatively trying to get a nice reflection shot in the pools of water might have worked.
