Up the Rebels! Down the British!

USA folks have a good, safe Independence Day!

Now, to review how to photograph fireworks displays...

I generally avoid large festivals, but, someday, I want to be in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 04 July. I remember seeing photos of the Independence Day Regatta, a sailboat race, with small traditional boats, with pre-20th Century rigs, that made me want to see that, in person.

Is there any anti-spammer work still going on in this forum?

There is indeed, but from time to time they come in such amounts that it's hard to keep the forums clean constantly. Remember that clicking the exclamation point button (Image) above the quote button helps us mods a great deal in finding and getting rid of spammers.

I always report spammers
Previously I mentioned another forum I was a member of earlier where they required the two first posts of a new member to be approved by a mod before they could post any more, and before these two posts would be displayed. Is that a possible solution? It seemed to work quite well

Thanks for reporting janern, that's very helpful!
I moderate another forum that uses the approach you describe and it does indeed seem to reduce spam activity a bit. I'll suggest it to Gordon, thanks!

Just missed out on a cheap used X100 :( Newsletter from store was sent out last night after they were closed. They open at 9am so I phoned them then (can't order online), and it was already reserved by someone else!

We have not burned any witches since Independence! I think it is only right that witches have rights, too!
