hi, i just upgraded from Sony A390 to Nikon D7100, i am loving every bit of this camera.
and D7100 is better then A390 in every way
now i have a question on the 51 focus points, when i half press the shutter button, some AF point will show for half of a second the goes away, but with one remain on, is that normal ?
because on my old Sony DSLR, when i half press the shutter button, a few of the AF points stays on.

another question what is the max ISO would you use under low light conditions?

thanks in advance

Which AF mode do you have it set to? Maybe it's working through the most suitable AF areas until settling on one to use.

As for low light, it all depends on how you'll use your images and your own expectations. Take a look at our Nikon D7100 review at the noise results page and you can see how the quality varies at different ISOs.
