The photographers who inspire me are the ones that I've interviewed:

Joseph James - shallow DOF master: http://www.aputure.com/blog/?p=702
Jason Lee - shoots his kids amazingly: http://www.aputure.com/blog/?p=2302
Baixiaoci - shoots locals in their homes in china: http://www.aputure.com/blog/?p=1716
Ryan Pyle - China PJ: http://www.aputure.com/blog/?p=3223
Karl Grobl - lives the dream shooting around the world: http://www.aputure.com/blog/?p=3183
Casey Templeton - former college photog of the year: http://www.aputure.com/blog/?p=1784
Lorenz Wagener - businessman who started his own studio from scratch: http://www.aputure.com/blog/?p=2793

Of course, I get inspiration from those famous guys such as Chase, Hobby, McNally, etc too...

I don't really have any specific photographers that inspire me, but there is one that absolutely does:

Marsel van Oosten is a Dutch nature photographer that has been published in National Geographic and won an IPA in the professional nature category a couple of times. Here is his website:

http://www.squiver.com/?reload

Some of his pictures are simply jaw dropping. I don't think I have ever seen a person take so many pictures that leave me in awe. If I will ever be able to produce pictures of the same quality then I am a very, very happy photographer :).

I dont want this to sound arrogant but the answer for me is me.... I dont want to look to anyone else for inspiration as it puts me behind the curve. Also if I use someone else as inspiration my work isnt truely mine anymore... at least that is how I see it. I do respect many photographers' work however with Mike Beedell being at the top of the list...

I really like dubaiphil's images that I see posted here, primarily the portraits, but also the urban landscapes.

Have two more Dutch nature photographers to add to my very short list:

Frans Lanting - http://www.lanting.com/index.php

Loulou Beavers - http://photo-moments.nl/2011/nl/index.p ... =1&divid=1

and Marsel van Oosten still completes the list (http://www.squiver.com/?reload).

Anyone else know any nature photographers like the three I mentioned here? I am searching for more photographers for inspiration. Really looking forward to your additions!

Okay, so mine also is someone "small", and more artistic, but she definitely is the reason I picked up my camera again.. be sure to not only look at her recent photos but at all of them..!

I recently learned that Elliott Erwitt's (my favorite photographer) print archive has been donated to the Ransom Center at the University of Texas, and they have made it searchable online. Endless amounts of photographs and inspiration to be found here: http://norman.hrc.utexas.edu/erwittdc/
